Mimi and Peter Haas Fund | Grantmaking The Mimi and Peter Haas Fund focuses on 3 key areas: Model Centers Initiative, Early Care and Education, and Trustee-Initiated Grants. provides significant, multi-year support to six San Francisco organizations that serve low-income children by providing high-quality, culturally responsive, and developmentally appropriate early childhood education.

includes Model Centers Initiative, Professional Development, Shared Services, Scholarships, Program Materials and Equipment, Core Support of Key Early Childhood Education Agencies, Early Literacy, and Early Childhood in Israel. much of it focused on strengthening civic and community life in San Francisco. Examples of grantees include City Arts and Lectures, Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, San Francisco Free Clinic, and KQED.
