Education Readiness Grants is sponsored by Conexus Indiana. Education Readiness Grants help Indiana secondary schools prepare students for careers in the increasingly high-tech advanced manufacturing industry by enabling school corporations and/or individual school sites to purchase Industry 4.

Education Readiness Grants - Conexus Indiana Education Readiness Grants Equip Your Classroom with Industry 4. 0 Technologies Education Readiness Grants help Indiana secondary schools prepare students for careers in the increasingly high-tech advanced manufacturing industry. Awarded grants enable school corporations and/or individual school sites to purchase Industry 4.

0 technologies that are defining the future of advanced manufacturing. By aligning curricula and experiential learning through the adoption of smart technologies, students will be ready to meet the needs of Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics employers.

Preparing the Workforce of Tomorrow, Together Conexus works with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education’s career and technical education team to provide annual Education Readiness Grants for Indiana secondary schools to purchase hardware and/or software that create foundational exposure to today’s smart manufacturing technology.

Grant recipients will be Indiana secondary schools with existing career pathway programs that demonstrate a direct connection with local advanced manufacturers and graduate job-ready students with experience and credentials that apply to local employers.

With the help of Conexus, the Commission has awarded nearly $1 million in Education Readiness Grants to 23 Indiana high schools/career centers in support of the schools’ advanced manufacturing programs. The following schools earned awards in 2025 to fund innovative Industry 4.

0 technologies for their programs: MSD of Steuben County: $125,000 SW Dubois County School Corp: $115,000 Anderson Community/District 26: $45,000 NE Dubois Jr/Sr. High School: $40,000 Adams Central High School: $115,000 Eastbrook Community School Corp: $120,000 New Castle High School: $125,000 Grant applications for advanced manufacturing and IT pathways are reviewed by industry advisory committees.

The committees are made up of post-secondary, industry and state leadership partners who represent various industry sectors, technology competencies and geographic diversity.
