Shop Community Resources Special Offers Educational Savings Accounts Education savings accounts (ESAs) give eligible families access to state education funds that can be used for approved educational expenses, including homeschool curriculum. Families must apply and be approved their state's program to receive ESA funds to purchase Sonlight curriculum.

The Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education (CHOOSE) Act of 2024 is administered by the Alabama Department of Revenue (ALDOR).
Through the CHOOSE Act, Alabama offers refundable income tax credits—called Education Savings Accounts (ESAs)—to help eligible K–12 students succeed. Families can use ESAs to cover tuition, fees, and other approved educational expenses at participating Education Service Providers (ESPs) in Alabama. *Sonlight Curriculum is available for purchase on the Marketplace through the ClassWallet platform.
Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program from the Arizona Department of Education gives eligible parents public funding to pursue flexible options for customizing their children's education.
Intended to expand educational opportunity outside of the public school system, it provides public funding for a wide range of personalized education expenses, including private school tuition, tutoring services, textbooks and more. *Sonlight Curriculum is available for purchase on the Marketplace through the ClassWallet platform.
Arkansas Education Freedom Account The Education Freedom Account (EFA) program from the Arkansas Department of Education provides eligible families with public funds to access flexible, customized learning opportunities for their children.
Designed to expand educational choice beyond the traditional public school setting, the program helps cover a variety of approved education expenses—including private school tuition, curriculum, tutoring, learning materials, and more—empowering parents to select the resources that best fit their student’s needs. *Sonlight Curriculum is available for purchase on the Marketplace through the ClassWallet platform.
Florida students who are not full-time private or public school students can access the Personalized Education Program (PEP) through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program. This scholarship provides an education savings account (ESA) to fund the educational needs of eligible students.
MyScholarShop was launched as a way to give FL Educational Savings Account families a one-stop online shopping experience to meet their students’ needs. MyScholarShop allows families to shop for pre-approved instructional materials and curriculum without having to pay out of pocket. *Family Empowerment Scholarship families can now visit the MyScholarShop to purchase educational materials from Sonlight.
Georgia Promise Scholarship The Georgia Promise Scholarship Program is aimed to empower families to pursue exceptional educational programs through nonpublic schooling, including private school and home study.
Should eligible families choose to leave public school (or forgo attending as a new kindergartener) to participate, the Georgia Promise Scholarship will allow families to use funds for private school tuition and fees, required textbooks, tutoring services, curriculum, physician/therapist services, transportation services, and other approved expenses.

Indiana Education Scholarships for Students with Disabilities and their Siblings (INESA) Sonlight is now an approved vendor for the Indiana Education Scholarship for Students with Disabilities and Their Siblings for K-12.
INESA was launched July 1, 2024 to provide scholarships for students with disabilities (and their siblings), allowing parents to opt out of the public school system and customize education to their child's needs. Families who receive scholarships can use funds to purchase curriculum, supplies, tutoring services, therapies and other approved expenses.

Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program, MOScholars The program provides Missouri families with access to scholarships funded through contributions to approved, nonprofit Educational Assistance Organizations (EAOs).
These organizations use the funds to award scholarships to qualifying Missouri students, including students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and students from low-income households. The program is designed to expand educational opportunities and provide families with greater choice in selecting educational options that meet their students' needs.

Children's Scholarship Fund Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) are grants from the State of New Hampshire, administered by Children’s Scholarship Fund, made available to families with incomes at or below 300 percent of the poverty level to spend on their children’s education, including tuition at the school of their choice, tutoring, classes, online learning programs, educational supplies, technology, and other educational expenses.

North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority Education Student Accounts (ESA+) scholarship funds help North Carolina families pay for education and services for children with disabilities. The ESA+ includes a variety of enrollment options, including private schools, home schools, and co-enrollment.

South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program Education Student Accounts (ESA+) scholarship funds are made available to families with incomes at or below 500 percent of the poverty level to spend on their children’s education, including independent schools, online education service providers/courses, tutoring, educational supplies, technology, and other educational expenses.

Texas Education Freedom Accounts Texas has launched the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program to give parents more choices in their children’s education, beginning in the 2026–27 school year.
Administered by the Texas Comptroller with support from Odyssey, TEFA will provide funds for private school tuition, homeschool expenses, tutoring, and more. *Sonlight Curriculum is available for purchase on the Marketplace through the Odyssey platform. Utah Fits All is a universal school choice scholarship program signed into law in 2023!
All K-12 students who are residents of Utah qualify to receive the full scholarship amount whether they currently attend public, private, or homeschool. Utah Education Fits All serves as your non-profit advocacy watchdog for the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program. Hope Scholarship is West Virginia's education savings account program that gives parents an opportunity to build an individual learning experience that works best for their child. The scholarship allows K-12 students to receive financial assistance that can be used for tuition, fees, and other expenses.
*Families can now visit MyScholarShop to purchase educational materials from Sonlight using these ESA funds. Wyoming Education Savings Account program The ESA program was established by the Wyoming Education Savings Account Act in 2024, which was amended by the Steamboat Legacy Scholarship Act .
The program provides eligible students to receive $7,000 annually, beginning in the 2026-27 school year, for various educational expenses, including private school tuition, curriculum, tutoring, extra-curricular activities, and other approved education-related costs.
