Educational Enrichment Foundation Classroom Grants & Student Needs is sponsored by Educational Enrichment Foundation (EEF). The Educational Enrichment Foundation (EEF) is an independent non-profit organization that supports the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD), which includes Tucson High Magnet School.

ONLY Tucson Unified staff & educators are eligible to apply for projects benefitting TUSD students. If a team of educators is applying, a lead educator must be identified as the primary applicant. 2.

EEF Classroom Grants may not be used to compensate Tucson Unified employees for any purpose. 3. The project MUST be approved by the school principal prior to applying.

4. Be prepared to clearly state the proposed project’s learning objectives, discuss how you will achieve these objectives and how you plan to assess your effectiveness. 5.

Your budget must be clear and list specific purchases. Funds must be spent as stipulated in the proposed budget. All expenditures must be supported with physical receipts.

Funds must supplement, not replace, state or local funds. 6. Projects must be completed within 1 year following award date.

7. New and continuing projects will be considered. 8.

EEF’s Allocations Committee reviews and evaluates all proposals. Proposals are awarded on a competitive basis according to the strength of their creativity, inventiveness, and student impact, available funding, and the clear articulation of their specific goals as they relate to curriculum enrichment. 9.

If a teacher’s position or school site or TUSD employment changes the applicant MUST contact EEF. 10. Unused funds must be returned to EEF.

Non-compliance with these guidelines may affect eligibility for future grant funding. EEF classroom grants cannot be used toward the cost of basic needs such as clothing, shoes, eyeglasses, general school supplies, or food.
