Edwards Lifesciences Foundation Grants Program is sponsored by Edwards Lifesciences Foundation. The Edwards Lifesciences Foundation Grants program aims to improve the health of underserved communities by supporting initiatives focused on education, screening, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Funding cycle | Edwards Lifesciences Edwards Foundation evaluates funding requests during our annual funding cycle, through which a majority of our giving is done. The funding cycle opens with a call for applications in late spring, applications are evaluated by our committees in the summer through early fall, and applicants are notified in late fall. The 2026 funding cycle will open on May 1 with a deadline for applications on June 15.

Applicants will be notified of funding decisions by October. Strengthen Our Community Applications Our Strengthen our Community initiative improves health outcomes for people in Edwards’ communities globally, by focusing on health, education, and economic opportunities through financial support and employee volunteerism. Requirements of organizations supported by Edwards Foundation U.S.-based organizations must be a tax-qualified charitable organization by demonstrating 501(c)(3) tax status by the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

Organizations based outside the U.S. must be a public charity substantially similar in governance, operation and mission to qualified U.S.-based organizations and will work with our international donation partners Charities Aid Foundation of America (CAFA) or Give2Asia for validation if approved for funding.

Additionally, all applicants must: (1) meet the program criteria; (2) complete the appropriate application; and (3) provide appropriate supplemental information (e.g., qualifying tax status, supporting financial statements, and program budgets). All partners of our Every Heartbeat Matters initiative, as well as other partners conducting work with patients, are required to sign a program agreement before receiving funds.
