Electrical and Computer Engineering Recruitment Scholarship Grant is sponsored by Montana State University. Montana State University offers scholarships to students majoring in Computer, Electrical, or General Engineering, aiming to encourage academic excellence and innovation.

Scholarship Information - Electrical & Computer Engineering | Montana State University Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering Electrical & Computer Engineering Montana State University's Office of Financial Aid coordinates a wide variety of scholarship opportunities.

In addition to other types of financial aid, many scholarships for freshmen (both resident and non-resident) are awarded automatically , without a separate application form, based on the ACT or SAT scores you submit with your application for admission. COE and ECE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE In addition to the MSU Achievement Award scholarships awarded automatically, the College of Engineering and the ECE Department offer scholarships to qualified applicants on a competitive basis. Fill out an application on the COE SCHOLARSHIPS PAGE . The ECE scholarships (both need-based and non-need-based) range from under $500 to more than $3500 per academic year.

Scholarships are paid in equal amounts for each All scholarships require that you be enrolled in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering at Montana State University, normally be registered for a minimum of 15 credits, and maintain a semester (not cumulative) GPA of at least 3. 0 (or higher in some cases) to be eligible for the scholarship the following semester.

New and Transfer Students Prospective MSU students interested in being considered for COE and ECE scholarships must submit the special COE scholarship application form: please see the COE Scholarships page for the Incoming Freshmen and the Transfer Student application forms and information. Scholarship applications are due at the beginning of February for the following academic year.

However, applications may be evaluated upon receipt, so students are encouraged to submit as soon as possible. Scholarships are currently awarded on a year-by-year basis, so continuing students must file a new scholarship application form each year to be eligible for consideration. Scholarship applications are due at the beginning of February for the following academic year. FINANCIAL NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS Several scholarships are designated for students meeting specific financial need criteria. To be eligible for need-based support, you must qualify for financial assistance through the MSU Student Financial Aid Office .

The standardized Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form must be filed with Student Financial Aid. This form can be obtained from the Student Financial Aid Office, your high school counselor, or online at http://www. fafsa.

ed. gov/ . The FAFSA form is used by all universities and requires government processing--which may take 4 to 8 weeks.

The form itself also takes time to complete, so start early! Please file the FAFSA form as soon as possible, prior to February 1, and be sure to check the need-based scholarship box on the College of Engineering Scholarship Application form.
