ELEVATEX - Open Call 2026 - Cascade Funding Hub ELEVATEX - Open Call 2026 Funding for individual textile SMEs to develop innovative products, services or processes supporting green and digital transition and market uptake with demonstrated market potential. The ELEVATEX Open Call 2026 is a cascade funding scheme supporting innovation in the European textile sector.
It targets SMEs developing market-oriented solutions contributing to green and digital transition. Selected projects receive lump sum funding to implement short-term innovation activities.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED : Development of new or significantly improved products, innovative services, and preparation for market entry, including prototype development, testing, validation, market analysis, business models, and activities supporting green and/or digital transition. Projects must demonstrate impact, technical excellence, feasibility, and coherent private contribution.
SECTORS / DOMAIN : Textile ecosystem, with focus on green and digital transition. INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM : Individual applicants only; proposals must be submitted by a single SME.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS : For-profit SMEs (including start-ups with at least one year of legal existence) operating in the textile ecosystem; established in EU Member States or eligible non-EU countries (EEA or COSME-associated countries); must comply with EU SME definition; not in financial difficulty or under exclusion; must provide private financial contribution (minimum 1% of total budget); TRL above 6; only one application per SME; ELEVATEX partners are not eligible.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES : Within the textile sector, the defined scope includes product/service development, process improvement for green and digital transition, market launch preparation, and SME competitiveness. PROJECTS DURATION : 6 months. BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS : Funding rate: Maximum of 99%, at least 1% of co-financing from private sources is required.
One of the evaluation criteria is the private share, from 1% to 9,99%, 1 point; from 10% to 19,99%, 4; from 20% to 29,99%, 7; and from 30%, 10 points. Budget conditions / limitations: Fixed lump sum of €30,000 per SME. Payments: 20% pre-financing (€6,000) within 15 days after contract signature and 80% final payment (€24,000) after approval of final report; final payment conditional on proper implementation and reporting.
