Annual LOI deadlines are February 15 for education and animal welfare; May 15 for children’s programming and arts and cultural vibrancy; and August 15 for health and wellness or civic, environmental, and community vibrancy. LOI decisions are generally issued approximately four weeks after the deadline. Invited applicants then submit a full application and participate in a site visit.

Cost share/match Required Nonprofit with 501C3 Status Specific Kentucky Counties Funded programs must benefit people within 60 miles of downtown Cincinnati. Applicants may apply once per calendar year and generally should have an operating budget no greater than $10 million and an unrestricted endowment no greater than $15 million.

These Units are intended to be used to provide co-location for the pets and service animals of people evacuating emergency situations, in accordance with the federal PETS Act of 2006. Each Unit comprises a 16 ft. x 7 ft.

AIDS United - STP - National Rapid Response TA Program The purpose of this program is to strengthen nonprofit HIV service organizations, including clinical providers, community-based organizations, advocacy groups, and coalitions, as they navigate a national contraction of funding and increasing political hostility.

This program will provide financial and technical assistance to HIV service organizations that are experiencing or anticipating organizational transition. This program is intended to support ecosystem-wide resilience and sustainability of core service provision by helping HIV service organizations to plan for and execute systems-level changes to organizational structure and operations.

While we may consider funding programs that deliver all types of veterinary care for owned pets, we prioritize free or nearly free preventive and wellness care, as well as basic care to address minor injuries and illnesses (such as ear or eye infections). If appropriate and cost-effective, we may consider providing you an in-kind donation of medications or vaccines in conjunction with a grant award.

Cost share/match Required Yes - In general, applicants must provide at least 20 percent of the approved project cost via cash and/or in-kind contributions; however, the funding agency may require a greater matching share from certain applicants. Public Safety & Disaster Resilience Dept of Justice - Technology to Support Services for Victims of Crime (Part A): Advancing the Use of Technology to Assist Victims of Crime The purpose of this program is to support the use of technology to improve the overall effectiveness, accessibility, and coordination of victim services by strengthening infrastructure, building organizational capacity, and enhancing service delivery systems.

Funding will projects that support or enable the development, deployment, or implementation of secure and user-centered technological solutions that will streamline service coordination.

Program objectives include: Developing or expanding the use of technology to enhance victims’ access to services, foster innovation and efficiency in the provision of services, improve the quality of services, and improve the accessibility and responsiveness of victim service organizations Leveraging and enhancing technology to develop organizational capacity to support data collection needs and support victims of crime in new and innovative ways that protect victims’ rights and enhance victim safety and confidentiality Collaborating with community stakeholders; victim service providers; subrecipient organizations, if applicable; and other allied professionals on the technology needs to best serve victims Producing a detailed project roadmaps Priority consideration will be given to projects designed to advance one or more of the following goals: Directly support law enforcement operations, including immigration law enforcement operations Support services to American citizens Protect American children Supporting American victims of trafficking and sexual assault Cost share/match Required No - Matching funds are not required for this component; however, matching funds proposed by successful applicants will become mandatory and subject to audit.

Applicants will not receive higher consideration during the application evaluation process for proposing voluntary matching contributions in their budget. Good Sports - Equipment Donation Good Sports is a national non-profit organization that provides donations of brand-new sports equipment, footwear, and apparel to schools and youth-serving organizations in communities all across the country.

Approved organizations will have access to up to 8 donations from Good Sports’ inventory of brand-new donated equipment over a two-year period, may be eligible for a one-time partnership-funded donation to meet top equipment needs, and may receive an invitation to join our portfolio model in the future.

Peterson Foundation The Folke H. Peterson Foundation The mission of the Folke H. Peterson Foundation is to prevent cruelty to animals and to benefit and improve the quality of life for animals.

Funds may be distributed directly for organizations to protect animals, for medical assistance, and for food for animals so long as such prevents cruelty to animals and benefits animals.

Cost share/match Required Public Safety & Disaster Resilience US Department of Labor - Mine Safety and Health Administration US Dept of Labor - MSHA - Mine Health and Safety State Grants The Secretary of Labor, through MSHA, may award grants to assist eligible entities in developing and enforcing state mining laws and regulations, improving state workers’ compensation and mining occupational disease laws and programs, and improving safety and health conditions in the nation’s mines through Federal-State coordination and cooperation.

MSHA encourages grantees to address, in their training and education programs, mine emergency preparedness, mine rescue, electrical safety, contract and customer truck drivers, improving training for new and inexperienced miners, managers and supervisors performing mining tasks, pillar safety for underground mines, and falls from heights.

MSHA also encourages state training programs to prioritize health and safety training for new mines and small mining operations. MSHA is interested in supporting programs that emphasize training on miners’ statutory rights, including the right to a safe working
