Emergency Assistance (PRC) funds for car repairs (Franklin County) is sponsored by Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services. Emergency Assistance (PRC) funds may be requested for a maximum of $2,000 to use towards overdue rent and utility bills, car repairs; or damages as a result of a natural disaster, housefire, or flood. This program is for residents of Franklin County.

Emergency Assistance (PRC Program) | Fairfield County Job and Family Services Emergency Assistance - PRC Program Assistance can be granted up to $2,000 in a 12-month period when funding allows. CATEGORIES OF ASSISTANCE: Rent and Deposit Assistance - Families that are homeless or in threat of homelessness Utility Assistance - Families with a disconnection notice that are not eligible for HEAP/PIPP.

Car Repair - Families with an employed individual working at least 25 hours per week with a valid driver’s license and​ insurance. Employment Related Services - Work clothes, shoes, equipment, gas, bus passes, etc. (For families with working or newly employed individuals). Assistance for Victims of Domestic Violence - For families who have experienced domestic violence.

The PRC program is not a cash payment and not ongoing financial support. To learn more about cash assistance . If you own a property or business and an individual asks if you will accept a PRC Voucher, here is what you need to know: PRC is a Emergency Assistance Program that offers short-term help to families in need. All individuals interested in PRC must apply and be found eligible. PRC Plan Vendors must complete and return New Vendor and return them to the agency to be added to the Vendor List.

Once both forms are completed and returned, the Vendor is added to a master list of individuals/businesses who will accept PRC Vouchers. - Non-Member Acknowledgment - Ohio New Hire Reporting If the individual is found eligible for the PRC, a PRC Voucher is issued to the vendor. This voucher must be signed and returned with a bill or invoice within 30 days so payment is issued promptly.

Once the voucher is returned to the agency with an original bill or invoice, it can take up to 30 days for payment to be sent from the Fairfield County Auditor’s Office . What needs to be turned in with my PRC application?

ALL APPLICATIONS REQUIRE: Last 30 days of income verification for the household (paystubs, self employment ledger, award letters, etc.) Verification of all liquid assets such as checking/savings accounts, PayPal, Cash App, Direct Express. Utility disconnect notice (gas, water and electric bills only) There must be a threat of homelessness (notice to vacate premises/3 day notice, court ordered eviction notice or verification of homelessness).
