Emergency Financial Aid is sponsored by HBCU Endowment Fund. This program provides emergency financial aid to HBCU students facing unexpected financial crises that threaten their ability to continue their education. Funds can be used for housing support, including eviction prevention, past-due rent, and security deposits.

Must be currently enrolled at an HBCU (any of the 107 HBCUs) Must be in good standing with your institution (no academic suspension) You're facing an unexpected financial crisis that threatens your enrollment You need assistance between $250 - $2,500 You can demonstrate the emergency through your application (documentation helpful but not always required) ## How to Apply: 5 Simple Steps ### Create Your Student Account Visit hbcuendowmentfund.

org and create a free applicant account. Provide your name, email, phone, school name, and student ID. You only need to do this once!

### Describe Your Situation Explain what emergency you're facing, how much you need ($250-$2,500), how it affects your ability to stay in school, and how you'll use the funds. Write in your own words—no need for formal language. ### Upload Supporting Documents (If You Have Them) Medical bills, eviction notices, utility shutoff notices, broken device photos, or repair estimates can speed up review.

### Completely Confidential Your application and crisis are kept completely confidential. We do not share your information except for fund disbursement. We don't check your credit or family income.

We focus only on your immediate need. No FAFSA required. Apply from your phone, tablet, or computer.

The application works on any device and saves your progress.
