### Repatriation Interest Form (2026 Hantavirus) Following the recent **Hantavirus cases** and the potential evacuation/repatriation by U.S. Department of State (DOS) of American citizens to the United States, the U.S. Repatriation Program is available to support eligible individuals returning to the United States.
If you have recently returned and need immediate help meeting basic needs—such as food, shelter, or transportation—you can submit a Repatriation Interest Form to request follow-up from program staff.
This form is intended for individuals who: * Identify as a U.S. citizen or dependent of a U.S. Citizen * Began their travel to the United States from a location identified as impacted by crisis conditions * Do not have adequate financial resources to meet immediate basic needs This form allows us to quickly determine which individuals may need assistance and prioritize outreach during emergency operations.

gov | 1-800-517-0525 #### Repatriation Interest Form: 2026 Middle East Incident ## The U.S. Repatriation Program Welcomes You Home ## Your Location Determines Your Starting Point If you are a U.S. citizen overseas and need assistance to return to the United States, contact the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate or the U.S. Department of State, Office of Overseas Citizens Services, at (888) 407-4747 (or from overseas +1 202-501-4444).
If you need assistance upon your arrival to the United States, the U.S. Department of State will refer you to the U.S. Repatriation Program (“the Program”), managed by OHSEPR. The Program can provide you temporary assistance for up to 90 days**after****your return to the United States by the U.S. Department of State**, to include cash assistance, shelter, and transportation, as well as case management.
Temporary assistance is provided as a loan which is payable to the U.S. government. You must complete and signForm RR-05: Repatriation Repayment and Privacy Agreementto receive temporary assistance. Your case will be closed either at the end of the 90-day period, or when you have enough resources to meet your basic needs (such as income, familial support, and/or other state government-provided social services).
