The program assists people to quickly regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and/or homelessness.
The ESG program addresses the needs of people experiencing homelessness in emergency or transitional shelters to assist people to quickly regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and/or homelessness. What areas of the county are eligible for ESG funding? The ESG program is to assist persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Therefore funds may be spent throughout the county. What projects are eligible with ESG funding?
Eligible projects include the rehabilitation or conversion of a building for use as an emergency shelter for the homeless, for the payment of certain expenses related to operating emergency shelters, for essential services related to emergency shelters, street outreach for the homeless, and for homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing assistance. What projects were funded with ESG funds?
Projects are identified each year and are listed in the Annual Action Plan. Who can apply for ESG funds? Pinal County non-profit organizations may apply for funding to provide the direct support and services to the public.
How do eligible organizations apply for ESG funds? Pinal County will accept project proposals between October and February of each year for funding the following August/September. Government Websites by CivicPlus®
