Emergency Solutions Grant Program is a federally funded initiative administered by the Nevada Housing Division that awards grants to nonprofits and local government units in Nevada to assist individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Funded activities include improving emergency shelter capacity, covering shelter operational expenses and essential services, rapid rehousing to quickly move homeless individuals and families into permanent housing, and homeless prevention services. Eligible applicants are Nevada-based nonprofit organizations and local government agencies. Funding amounts vary by application and available federal allocation. Individual applicants are not eligible.

Funding is provided for specific activities: Shelter – Improve the number and quality of emergency shelters for homeless individuals and families; Operational expenses, and essential services. Rapid Rehousing - Rapidly re-house homeless individuals and families. Homeless Prevention - Prevent families and individuals from becoming homeless.
