Funding is provided for specific activities: Shelter – Improve the number and quality of emergency shelters for homeless individuals and families; Operational expenses, and essential services. Rapid Rehousing - Rapidly re-house homeless individuals and families. Homeless Prevention - Prevent families and individuals from becoming homeless.
