Employee Grants is sponsored by CAPTRUST Community Foundation. Small grants up to $2,500 for charitable organizations, applied for by CAPTRUST employees.

Grants | CAPTRUST Community Foundation Our grant program focuses on local and national charities serving the needs of children. National Partnership Grants Each year a Charity of Choice and several National Grants are awarded through the CCF’s Partnership Grant Program.

Through our application process, we select a Charity of Choice, typically providing a grant of $100,000+, as well as seeking to positively impact the charity’s reach and scale. As the organization’s largest grant, the CAPTRUST Community Foundation sets aside nearly 40 percent of its giving budget each year for this purpose. While there is only one Charity of Choice award annually, there are multiple national grants given each year.

For these grants, the CAPTRUST Community Foundation looks for organizations that align with the CCF mission to partner with throughout the year. The 2026 grant cycle is now open. The application is due March 13, 2026.

The vetted, approved charities will each receive up to $2,500. Please note, this grant application is closed to the public. Delivering critical assistance during times of crisis.

Our Crisis Grant program is designed to help charities that are assisting those severely impacted by natural disaster or a crisis that negatively impacts a family’s ability to thrive.

To help ease the burdens these disasters place on families and help them cope and begin to rebuild their lives, the CAPTRUST Community Foundation dedicates more than 10 percent of its annual gift giving budget for purposes of targeted crisis support for families in need. Please note: Only CAPTRUST employees are eligible to apply for this grant on behalf of an organization.

Neighbor to Neighbor’s purpose is to reverse the effects of poverty through mentoring relationships that focus specifically on education, development, and spirituality. Mothers And Their Children (MATCH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Raleigh, North Carolina, created to address the special needs of children of incarcerated mothers.

The Green Chair Project reuses furnishings donated by our community to help our neighbors in need facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis and disaster. Lives change when families and individuals are nurtured and sustained in well-equipped homes. Our mission is to engage community involvement to provide clothing and dignity to impoverished and homeless children in Wake County, NC.

The mission of TeamSmile is to provide children in need with a life-changing dental experience through the power of sports.
