You receive your contractor information: If you qualify for a grant program, you will receive a letter from DHCD with the name of your assigned contractor. You can contact the contractor to schedule your in-home energy assessment, or you can wait for the contractor to contact you within 30 days.

A contractor assesses your home: The assessment will identify the savings potential in your home and prioritize the most effective ways to reduce your energy costs while increasing comfort in the home. The contractor completes the work: The contractor will complete the recommended work at no cost to you.
