Educator Grants - EVSC Foundation EDUCATOR GRANTS 2026-2027 Submissions for 2026-2027 Educator Grants will be accepted beginning Wednesday, August 26th! Deadline to apply is October 20th! EVSC Foundation's Grant Opportunities The EVSC Foundation and Public Education Foundation have offered educator grants for many years.

Now that we are one organization, we have streamlined the educator grant process and available opportunities building on what our separate organizations offered in the past. Our focus for the future highlights our commitment to three key areas: envision, engage, empower . We believe that when students and teachers are inspired and engaged in collaborative and transformational learning experiences, they will be empowered to thrive.

We want to make grants more accessible to our teachers, so we have streamlined our grant process to make it as simple as possible. The application form requests information needed to organize and execute any lesson plan and should take 20 minutes or less to complete. Below are our FAQs and our three areas of focus .

Please read each category description to determine which category best fits your proposed project. You can only apply to one E3 grant category each year. If you have questions and need support determining which category is the best fit, please reach out to grants@evscfoundation.

The 2026 application window will open in August. If your project is funded, you will be required to share the impact of your project (including photos/video and a project synopsis) here . EVSC Foundations’ E3 Grants provide up to $1000 for materials and unique experiences that elevate your classroom, engage students, and/or empower students to find social-emotional and academic success.

Submitted grants will be evaluated on the following criteria: Priority will be given to projects that impact innovation in the classroom : whether it is a unique program or initiative, or a hands-on learning opportunity, we prioritize transformation with real-world application. Academically based projects that extend learning and build upon prior knowledge in accessible and concrete ways.

Total impact : this includes the number of students directly impacted as well as how student learning will be enhanced. We discourage the following: Requests for refreshments or incentives (snacks, meals, t-shirts unless included as a small component of a family engagement initiative). Field trip requests that are not academically based.

Requests for flexible seating or classroom supplies. Quick and Easy Application E3 Educator Grants are not renewable or retroactive . At the end of the approved grant period, grant holders will return any unused funds to the EVSC Foundation.

How will your project inspire you to transform the learning experience for your students? Our Envision Grant is intended for projects that inspire and refuel you! Looking at adding robotics into your classroom to help inspire your students to apply math concepts in a new way?

Want to purchase a professional development resource book for all teachers and staff at your school to encourage growth mindset? This grant is for you! W hether it is a grade-level collaboration or a professional development opportunity, Envision Grants give you the opportunities to “envision” and transform the educational experiences in your classroom.

Looking to learn more about plant life cycles by having a master gardener provide a tour and information to your students?

Want to support new techniques in your art classes by bringing in a resident artist? This grant is for you! Whether you are looking to bring a community partner into the classroom, or seeking educational opportunities within the community, Engage Grants provide funding to ensure students have a variety of opportunities to apply new skill sets.

Our Empower Grant is intended for projects that respond to students interests by extending learning in creative and novel ways. Looking to support your student council with field trip opportunities to volunteer in our community?

Want to provide students with speech and debate workshops or add a resume writing workshop for juniors and seniors? This grant applies to you! However you are engaging and responding to the interests of your students- empowering them to lead and build confidence- Empower Grants provide you the resources to invest in helping students thrive!

Submissions are typically due in January. The Indiana Arts Commission Sponsorship of the Arts grants are awarded to develop or advance arts opportunities and experiences for K-12 students across the state. Two cycles are available (spring and fall), accepting requests up to $4000.
