EPAK Foundation Special Grants

EPAK Foundation Special Grants is sponsored by EPAK Foundation. Encourages collaboration among teachers for larger-scale projects benefiting students.

Special Grants – EPAK Foundation The Special Grant is intended to inspire collaboration amongst teachers to conduct larger-scale and longer-term projects to benefit their students. The Special Grant will be open to all EPAK partner schools in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, and in the future when sufficient funds are available.

Grant Size: Up to $5,000 per project Duration: Up to 1 year per project, with extensions considered on an as-needed basis Project Team Size: At least 2 teachers, with 1 designated as the primary contact Requirements: One initial application consisting of two responses (350 words or less), along with a brief interim report and a final project report (PPR) Applications will be accepted January 1 through February 15 , 2026, and decisions will be communicated by email by the week of March 2.

Frequently Asked Questions How is this different from a regular grant? Special Grants are larger in both scope and size. They require the collaboration of at least two staff members.

More than a single classroom can benefit; consider a grade-level or school-wide project, or even join forces with teachers at other schools. Completion dates are flexible and can extend beyond the current semester for longer term projects. Am I eligible for a Special Grant if this is my first time applying to EPAK?

Yes! All teachers at EPAK-affiliated schools are welcome to apply. Can I apply for an EPAK Special Grant and another EPAK grant?

Yes! Teachers may apply for one of each type of grant they are eligible for. Do I need to spend the grant funds before cashing the check?

No! Please deposit checks immediately. They will be voided if not cashed in 90 days.

When will I know if I’ve been approved for a grant? I’m excited to begin work! Not all projects will be approved and funded.

Applicants will be notified of the decision approximately two weeks after the close of the application period. My project didn’t work out. Can I use my grant for something else?
