EPSRC Programme Grants is a funding scheme from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) in the UK that funds large-scale, long-term research programs led by world-leading research groups across engineering and physical sciences. How to apply for programme grants – UKRI How to apply for programme grants We are evolving how we process programme grant applications to streamline the peer review process. The new process for outline applications will start on 1 October 2024. It will combine the previous pre-outline and outline processes.
This will be an internal EPSRC panel process with external observers from the community for assurance. Before applying you should contact the relevant theme contact . They will be able to offer advice on the scheme conditions, the fit to EPSRC strategy, and how to begin the process.
Further detail on the new outline stage will be available on the funding finder when the opportunity opens on 1 October 2024. This webpage will also be updated. The full application stage assessment criteria, process and key aims of the programme grant scheme will be published on the funding finder .
