Equipment Granting (for individuals with any type of disability/chronic illness) is sponsored by Laughing at my Nightmare. This non-profit offers grant funding aimed at individuals who are living with any type of disability/chronic illness, providing adaptive equipment and assistive technology.

TECH-CESSIBILITY PROGRAM | lamn Laughing at My Nightmare's Tech-Cessibility Program supplies assistive technology and adaptive equipment to people living with ANY disability. *Please Note: This is a committee-reviewed grant program and is not intended for emergency funding. Applicants should expect funding decisions approximately 60–90 days after the application deadline.

* APPLY HERE (STARTING 8/24) 2026 APPLICATION WINDOWS: August 24, 2026: Applications Open September 24, 2026: Applications Close UPDATED: November 15, 2026: Final Decisions Delivered Tech-cessibility provides funding for assistive technology and equipment for individuals with disabilities, diagnoses, and chronic illnesses. Meeting the basic eligibility requirements below does not guarantee funding.

To apply, applicants must: Reside in the United States. Be requesting eligible assistive technology or equipment with a total request of $5,000 or less. Provide documentation of their disability, diagnosis, or chronic illness that clearly includes the applicant’s name.

Documentation must be uploaded as a PDF file. Applications without the required documentation will not be considered. Social Security income statements are not accepted as proof of disability.

Provide all required financial information and documentation requested within the application. ​Financial Need: Applicants from low-income households, including households with income below the median household income for their state of residence, are given priority during the review process. Household income is considered alongside other application factors when funding decisions are made.

Being above your state’s median household income does not automatically make you ineligible to apply, but applicants demonstrating greater financial need may receive priority due to LAMN’s limited funding. Meet any additional requirements outlined within the application.

Important Information Before Applying Tech-cessibility is not a product-specific funding program, and LAMN does not guarantee funding for any particular device, technology, manufacturer, or vendor. Being referred to LAMN by a vendor or seeing LAMN listed as a potential funding resource does not mean that an applicant or requested item has been pre-approved for funding.

All requests are evaluated through the same application and review process. Because LAMN is a small nonprofit and receives more requests than we are able to fund, submission of an application does not guarantee an award. Funding decisions are based on eligibility, the information provided in the application, program priorities, and available funding.

Payment for approved requests is made directly to the vendor.
