Students who enroll in our non-credit career programs are not eligible for federal financial aid or free tuition funding. These programs are designed to provide practical skills and training for career advancement but do not qualify for traditional financial assistance such as Pell Grants or state-funded tuition programs.
However, depending on the program, there may be several different funding options available to help cover or offset the cost of your education. Learn more by choosing your campus below. Equitable IT Pathways Initiative (EITPI) The Equitable IT Pathways Initiative (EITPI) is a grant‑funded workforce training program that provides tuition‑free Information Technology (IT) education, industry certifications and comprehensive support services for eligible participants.
EITPI is designed to remove financial and structural barriers to careers in IT — serving individuals who are new to tech, changing careers, unemployed or underemployed or are currently enrolled as CT State students. CT State Community College's Equitable IT Pathways Initiative is $6. 7M.
$5. 0M (75%) is funded through a Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration grant and another $1. 7M (25%) is committed through non-federal state and local resources.
SNAP Employment and Training This program provides funding for those receiving SNAP benefits without temporary cash assistance. The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama.
