Equity and Access Grant Program Public Utilities Commission External Affairs Division Business and Community Outreach Equity and Access Grant Program Equity and Access Grant Program The Equity and Access (E&A) Grant Program was initially created with 3 separate grant accounts to implement the Budget Act of 2022 (AB 179) and incorporate its statutory purpose. The funding for the initial 3 accounts was awarded or reallocated to other state purposes by the end of June 2024. However, new funding has been allocated to the E&A Grant Program. In September 2024, the California Legislature appropriated $2,000,000 in the Budget Act of 2024 (AB 157) from the Aliso Canyon Recovery Account. In April 2025, Resolution M-4875 was passed to implement AB 157. Clean Energy Access: LA County TECH Grant Announcement: CPUC Approved Resolution M-4881 at December 4 Voting Meeting Approving CEA-LAT Cycle 1 Grants The CPUC voted on Draft Resolution M-4881 at the December 4, 2025 voting meeting. 585706309.pdf . This resolution proposes awarding $581,824 from the Clean Energy Access: LA County TECH (CEA-LAT) Grant to support community-based outreach and education efforts focused on building decarbonization, electrification technologies, healthy homes, and access to TECH Clean California incentives in Los Angeles County, prioritizing the Aliso Canyon Disaster Area and the San Fernando Valley.
