Equitech Growth Fund | TEDCO Empowering Maryland’s innovation economy through strategic grants for infrastructure and workforce development The Equitech Growth Fund (EGF), managed by TEDCO, provides grants for infrastructure and workforce development initiatives that support Maryland’s economic competitiveness, foster economic opportunity for all and accelerate growth of emerging and advanced industries in the State.
The goal is to move Maryland to rank as a top ten fastest growing innovation state by 2040. Infrastructure Awards: Up to $1M Project Duration: 12 – 36 months, depending on the project scope and readiness. Workforce Awards: Up to $250K Project Duration: 12 – 24 months, depending on the project scope and readiness.
Public-private partnership Higher Education institutions Entrepreneurship Development Cybersecurity and IT Industry Workforce Development Advanced Laboratory Space *Additional areas of consideration include, but are not limited to: Environmental and Energy Technology Smart Agriculture and Food Technology Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Bioinformatics Foster Economic opportunities for all Support’s Maryland innovation economy Increase Maryland’s national competitiveness in emerging and advanced technology industries in the State Applications Open : April 3, 2026 Applications Close : August 7, 2026 Complete applications for each project must be submitted by 5:00 p.
