Venture Capital Funding to support European Deep Tech Innovation. Financed by the European Commission with the investment advice of the European Investment Bank Established in 2020, the EIC Fund is the Venture Capital investment arm of the European Innovation Council (EIC). With a capitalisation of over €4 billion, it bridges the gap between public and private financing, supporting Europe’s most promising startups and scaleups.
Through patient capital and strategic co-investments, the EIC Fund empowers visionary entrepreneurs to bring breakthrough technologies to market, driving Europe’s competitiveness and innovation leadership. From Series Seed to Series B (and beyond) We partner with visionary entrepreneurs and the wider ecosystem to scale Europe’s most ambitious startups 300+ companies across 25 countries have received investment from the EIC Fund.
To date, we have signed investment agreements of more than EUR 1. 4bn (includes equity investments under both the EIC Pilot and the fully fledged EIC under Horizon Europe) For every 1 Euro invested by the EICF, our portfolio companies manage to raise at least 3,5 Euros from other investors.
