Community Investments - Evergy Enhancing the vitality of our communities Apply for a Grant or Sponsorship with Evergy Evergy is committed to empowering a better future for the communities we serve. Through our Community Impact Program, we support nonprofit organizations working to improve environmental sustainability, community vitality and social equity.
Organizations that are interested in applying for a grant or sponsorship with Evergy should complete the Request for Funding form. These grants support 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofit agencies in Evergy’s service area. Funding is prioritized for projects that align with our strategic focus areas: Environmental Leadership: Initiatives that support clean energy, education, stewardship and sustainability.
Projects that demonstrate environmental leadership include – but are not limited to – pollinator gardens, river and waterway cleanup, tree planting, zero-waste events and park revitalization. Community Vitality: Initiatives that support workforce readiness, access to opportunities and basic needs.
Projects that demonstrate community vitality include – but are not limited to – youth leadership programs, equitable food access and affordable housing advocacy. Before applying, ensure your project aligns with Evergy’s focus areas: environmental leadership and community vitality. You may be asked to complete an eligibility quiz as part of the application process.
