Putting Your Support to Work The Champaign Community Foundation endowment fund is invested and generates income that is used to provide support to nonprofit organizations in our community. Grants are made on behalf of our donors, at the suggestion of our Board of Advisors.

Acting as a conduit, we bring together individuals who wish to support organizations providing services to our community. Our mission is rooted in the values of service, collaboration, and impact. As one board member shared, “I have been looking for an opportunity to become involved in an organization whose mission was service-minded.

Serving on the Foundation gives me an opportunity to give back to the community that has provided me with multiple opportunities in both my personal and professional life. ” That spirit, of gratitude and responsibility, is the foundation of our work. Belle’s Yellow Legacy of Love $1,000 to support the Belle’s Giving Fund, assisting individuals with special needs.

$1,000 for summer enrichment & access support for their programs. Summer Theater Camp for Youth $450 for 3 individual student scholarships for their two-week summer camp. Learning Through Livestock $1,500 to help children with animals at Woodruff Farms show them at the Fair.

$1,000 to support the building of an inclusive playground at Melvin Miller Park. $500 to support their Backpack Program in Urbana schools. sarah@springfieldfoundation.
