Everyday Young Hero Awards is sponsored by Youth Service America (YSA). Weekly recognition for youth improving communities through service, with a $100 award for each honoree.

Everyday Young Hero Nomination Form | Youth Service America Everyday Young Hero Award Nomination Form Always Accepting Nominations! With the support of The Hershey Company, the 50 Everyday Young Heroes recognized throughout 2026 will each receive a $100 award to support their initiatives. For 2026, we are only accepting nominations from youth living in the United States or Canada.

How is their community impacted by this problem or need? Which of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals most closely aligns with the issue the hero is addressing? SDG1: Poverty - End poverty in all its forms everywhere.

SDG4: Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

SDG5: Gender Equality - Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. SDG6: Clean Water & Sanitation - Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. SDG7: Energy - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

SDG8: Economy - Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. SDG9: Infrastructure - Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation. SDG10: Inequality - Reduce inequality within and among countries.

SDG11: Community Safety & Sustainability - Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. SDG12: Consumption - Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, including reducing, reusing, and recycling. SDG13: Climate - Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

SDG14: Life Below Water - Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development. SDG15: Life on Land - Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

SDG16: Peace and Justice - Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. SDG17: Partnerships - Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
