Clark County Social Service - Applications for Assistance Applications for Assistance Clark County Social Service assists area residents facing financial hardship and who lack sufficient income or resources to pay their rental housing costs, utilities, and other related expenses. Assistance programs include FAS (financial assistance), Senior FAS, Transportation, Eviction Prevention, and Fixed Income Rent Assistance.
Clark County residents may apply for assistance online by clicking on My Application and logging in to their portal account or creating an account. Applicants should have only one portal account. Creating multiple accounts will delay application processing.
New programs to assist with Eviction New CHAP eligibility requirements have been established to aid those facing eviction due to non-payment of rent. Only applications for households that meet the new eligibility criteria are being accepted as of January 23, 2023. If you have received an eviction notice, you may apply for assistance here.
You will be required to answer a few screening questions to see if you will qualify for one of the new eviction assistance programs, including: Is at least one member of your household living on a fixed income (e.g., Social Security, VA benefits, or pensions)? Has your rent increased within the 12-month period prior to the date of your application? Have you received an eviction notice for non-payment of rent?
