Michigan Afterschool Partnership, Expanding Educational Opportunities in Michigan, 2025-13737 | Mott Foundation Expanding Educational Opportunities in Michigan Michigan Afterschool Partnership January 1, 2026–December 31, 2027 Lansing, MI, United States The Michigan Afterschool Partnership will seek to continue a public-private partnership initiative to advance afterschool programming for Michigan’s youth and families.
The overall goal of this initiative is to ensure that all Michigan youth have access to quality afterschool and summer learning opportunities.
Specifically, this initiative will continue to seek to: 1) build needed capacity at the state level in Michigan; 2) implement quality standards and training; 3) develop a communications initiative; 4) coordinate a new statewide afterschool committee of key stakeholders; and 5) conduct program evaluation to ensure that young people have access to the afterschool programs they need moving forward.
