Osde CLASS 2 Grant - Partnership with DonorsChoose Starting November 2 nd , the Oklahoma State Department of Education will be awarding grants of up to $1000 for classroom supplies in federal relief funding to qualifying Oklahoma educator DonorChoose projects for the 918 area code. *PLEASE NOTE: Projects submitted before November 2nd will not be eligible for funding . Do not submit your project until November 2 nd at 4pm.

Teach PreK-12 in an Oklahoma public school. Submit a new project after November 2nd, 2022 at 4pm CT . On the “HI” page while creating your project, enter the campaign code OKLAHOMA918 by clicking “Apply a campaign code.

” You will not be able to enter this campaign code until November 2 nd at 4pm. Projects without their appropriate campaign code will not be eligible for funding. Request around $800 in combined costs for materials, shipping, & taxes.

The $1,000 donation includes the total cost of materials, applicable taxes and fees, and the suggested donation to DonorsChoose. Answer the included prompts from the OSDE: What makes your students unique and special? How has COVID-19 impacted learning over the past two years?

How will the requested resources directly relate to helping students advance their academic learning or overall well-being in light of COVID-19? Request resources to support students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being as well as the impacts of interrupted learning because of COVID-19. Your project must only request resources that will be used directly by students, or have a direct student benefit .

Need inspiration? See this article for guidance on what resources are eligible. In your project essay, make sure to describe how the resources you’re requesting will help your students through pandemic-impacted learning.

Along with teachers, speech pathologists, media specialists, counselors, reading specialists and occupational/speech therapists are eligible to submit projects for possible funding. Projects created before November 2, 2022 at 4pm. Projects from Head Start programs are not eligible unless they are part of a program at an elementary (K+) school site.

Projects from virtual schools are not eligible. Professional Development, virtual class trips, virtual class visitors, and Special Requests are not eligible for this funding opportunity. Resources that will not qualify: Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards Resources that will not be directly used by students.

Examples: Snacks and beverages for school staff, furniture for teachers, resources for parent engagement . Note : Projects requesting gift cards (outside of Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards, which are not eligible) need to be reviewed by a small team of staff screeners. Based on the anticipated speed of funding, we recommend that you do not include any gift cards in your project for the best chance at receiving funding.

Please do not to create a draft project on DonorsChoose in advance. You may create a draft within a Word document and then cut and paste on November 2 at 4 p. m.

Projects must be submitted after 4 p. m. on November 2 for eligibility purposes.

The Foundation for Tulsa Schools is proud to support classroom innovation through the Grants for Great Ideas program.

This initiative provides microgrants of up to $500 to Tulsa Public Schools educators for creative projects that enhance student learning or achievement. Eligibility: Tulsa Public Schools educators submitting projects on DonorsChoose in one of the following areas: Art, Music, Health & Wellness, Literacy, STEAM, Enrichment, or Special Education .

Priority will be given to projects costing under $500 which can be fully funded and educators who have not previously received funding. Frequency: Educators are eligible to receive one microgrant per school year. Submit your project on DonorsChoose.

Be sure to explain how it will improve student learning or engagement. Complete the application at “Apply Here” below by the 1st Friday of the month to be considered for that month’s review. You will need to provide your project’s link from DonorsChoose.

Approval: Funding is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email from the Foundation for Tulsa Schools. Post-Award Reporting: Educators will be asked to send a brief summary of the project’s impact on student learning or engagement with at least one photo of the project in use after the project is complete. The Foundation for Tulsa Schools believes field trips enrich learning by connecting classroom lessons to real-world experiences and expanding students’ understanding of their community. To support this, the Foundation offers Explore Oklahoma microgrants of up to $500 to help cover TPS bus transportation costs. These trips expose students to the cultural and historical treasures of our area and inspire academic and personal growth.

Eligibility: Tulsa Public Schools educators are eligible for one grant per school year . Field trips must have prior approval from the school principal . Funding priority will be given to schools who have not received an Explore Oklahoma microgrant this academic year.

Funding Use: Covers TPS bus transportation for approved field trips. Priority is given to trips within Tulsa County. Additional Support: Need help with entrance fees or other trip costs?

For the 2025–2026 school year, Project Elf is partnering to provide additional microgrants. If needed, please complete the Project Elf section of the grant application. To Apply: Have your trip details confirmed (date, destination, number of students) and pre-approved by your school principal.

Select “Apply for Explore Oklahoma” to complete the grant application. Grant Review Schedule: Applications are reviewed on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month during the grant cycle. Apply between July 21 – October 31 for field trips taking place in the fall.

Apply between November 1 – April 30 for field trips taking place in the spring. Award Notification: Educators will be notified by the Foundation and Project Elf of their funding decision within two weeks of application. Approval: Once your application is submitted and approved, a grant agreement will be sent and must be returned by the deadline to confirm your award.

Accordingly, the program is being concluded and will sunset as of June 30, 2026. No further grant disbursements will be made. High deductibles can be a financial barrier to obtaining mental health care, causing those who are struggling to forgo seeking treatment.

The Foundation for Tulsa Schools is excited to announce a limited-time, grant-funded program designed to help make mental health services more affordable and accessible for teachers and school-based support staff. The Foundation for Tulsa Schools provides funding exclusively to Tulsa Public Schools district offices and school sites. All applications must be submitted by a current Tulsa Public Schools representative (such as a principal, teacher, or staff member) with the approval of the Superintendent . Requests from outside organizations, individuals who are not affiliated with TPS, or requests not approved by Dr. Johnson will not be considered.

For funding requests less than $5,000, including requests for event food, please use this portal. All submissions will be reviewed by the Foundation for Tulsa Schools board for potential support. Submission of a proposal does not guarantee funding. This grant is meant to augment existing programs or help create new ones that foster learning in key areas of reading, science, math, technology or engineering.

Cox Charities Education Grants up to $10,000 are open to pre-K through 12th grade public and private schools within Cox Communications Tulsa service areas ( review their service areas here ).
