eXtended Reality Learning - Engage and Interact (IA) is sponsored by European Commission. A Horizon Europe initiative aiming to advance innovative XR applications for learning, training, and education, focusing on developing virtual tools to establish Europe as a leader in cutting-edge educational technologies.

MASTER partners have the technologies, resources and experience required to create innovative technological XR components, and educational materials that exploit XR technologies for teaching and education. In fact, from the onset of the project, the partners in MASTER will be conducting innovations for the 5 pillars on which the MASTER methodology sits.

In spite of the expertise and competences within the MASTER, significant contribution will be needed from other parties to round up the achievement of all objectives set in the project.

The objective of the 2nd Open Call for Applicants is to attract the best candidates able to create educational content and validate the platform, as well as the technologies developed in the project, with students (schools or professional training services). The 2nd Open Call will request applicants to address and solve any of the proposed challenges, or to propose their own challenge, within the scope of the MASTER project.

The execution of winning projects proposed by third parties (Applications) will last for 9 months. For the applications in Open Call 2, the 9-month execution period will include the design of educational material, their implementation to the MASTER-XR platform and their educational validation. Partners from the MASTER consortium will provide technical and educational mentoring to each application during the whole execution period.

Open Call 2 applications will receive, at the beginning of their execution period, training on the XR tools and didactic materials developed during Open Call 1, and on the use of the platform in which the tools and materials are included. MASTER will establish a formal and periodic mechanism to monitor the progress of the applications and evaluate the excellence and market potential of their applications.
