Diversify Photo and the Pulitzer Center are pleased to open applications for the fourth year of the Eyewitness Photojournalism Grant .
This grant aims to tell visual stories about and by photojournalists from historically underrepresented communities. As part of this year’s program, recipients will also have the opportunity to be mentored by other visual and photojournalists.
We are still seeking news media partners to collaborate with us on the distribution of selected work. Applicants must be independent photojournalists from anywhere in the world, and applicants are strongly encouraged to apply with a letter of commitment from a news outlet with significant reach. In addition to DPxPC funding, we expect news outlets to contribute to the cost of reporting these stories.
Applications must be received in English. There is no application fee. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2023, at 11:59 pm (Eastern Time).
