The Façade Improvement Grant (FIG) provides matching funds to help business and property owners improve the exterior appearance of commercial and industrial properties throughout The Façade Improvement Grant supports exterior building improvements that enhance commercial properties, strengthen neighborhood business districts, and encourage private investment. All grants are reimbursement-based and require approval before work begins.
Grant awards are subject to available funding and are made at the sole discretion of BDC. Funding may be available for eligible exterior improvements, including: Other approved exterior improvements Several grant options are available depending on the property type. Maximum grant award: $5,000 Reimbursement after project completion Approval required before work begins Review the program’s eligibility requirements.
Meet with a BDC representative at the project site before submitting an application. Wait for grant approval before beginning any work. Important: Work completed before grant approval is not eligible for reimbursement.
