Applications for Funding | Loyola University Chicago The Joan and Bill Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Heritage supports teaching and learning through its Course Development Grant Program. The purpose of this grant is to support pedagogical and curricular development in topics connected to Catholic thought and life in the arts, sciences, and professional education.
The grant opportunity includes a stipend and is available to individual full-time LUC faculty. Applications are due early in the calendar year with the funding period taking place during summer and fall of the calendar year.
Course Development Grant Application 2021-2022 CCIH provides year-long research project funding to faculty for either individual or group research projects concerned with or connected to Catholic thought and practice, Ignatian intellectual and pedagogical heritage, and social justice in the Catholic tradition.
The project goal is normally a published text, a work of art or literature, or a film, but can also include an organized conference or a team taught course. CCIH Faculty Research Grants are now tied to our new Plan 2020 Initiative, Faculty Seminar “Ignatius of Loyola, Catholic Intellectual Life, and the Common Good. ” In most cases, applicants for funding most have completed the Faculty Seminar to be eligible for consideration.
The grant opportunity includes a stipend. Applications are due early in the calendar year with the funding period taking place during the following academic year (August to June). Research Fellowship Application 2021-2022 Undergraduate Research Fellowship CCIH, in support of the Catholic Studies Minor, is funding a one-year fellowship to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in the Catholic Studies Minor program.
This fellowship comes with a $2000 scholarship. This fellowship is dedicated to support for CCIH funded faculty research projects as well as CCIH’s international research projects. Students submit completed applications online through the Loyola Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (LUROP) by March 1.
