Catholic Foundation of… | Catholic Foundation of Northwest PA Faith Formation Grant Guidelines Education Grant Guidelines Catholic Social Ministry Grant Guidelines Online Application Information Grant Recognition Guidelines The Catholic Foundation distributes grants to Catholic parishes, schools, ministries and organizations that build the mission of the Catholic Church in northwest Pennsylvania.
Grants and distributions are provided from each of our three types of endowments: Field of Interest, Designated and Agency. The majority of grants awarded by the Catholic Foundation are distributed to beneficiaries designated by the founding donor of an endowment and are restricted to those charities in perpetuity. Grant opportunities open to a competitive application process are listed below.
Please review the guidelines and criteria outlined for all opportunities to see where your project best fits. Faith Formation Grant Opportunity Faith Formation Grant applications will be accepted February 16, 2026 through March 30, 2026. Grant Application Process Education Grant Opportunity Spring Education Grant applications will be accepted February 16, 2026 through March 30, 2026.
Fall Education Grant applications will be accepted August 10, 2026 through September 21, 2026.
