Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP)

Local Aging & Disability Planning Grant – Round 2 is sponsored by California Department of Aging (CDA). Grants to communities to plan and develop local age- and disability-friendly action plans. These plans aim to improve a community's livability and address the current, emerging, and future needs of California's older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers through cross-sector collaboration and transformational systems change.

Rare Belonging® Grant Program is sponsored by Alexion Charitable Foundation. The Alexion Charitable Foundation's Rare Belonging® grant program supports programs and services that benefit individuals, caregivers, and families impacted by rare diseases, aligning with its mission to address health disparities within and among the rare disease community. Priorities include science-driven solutions, technology and innovation, patient supports, and research & policy focused on diagnostic pathways and systems improvements. The program specifically seeks to advance emotional well-being and educational opportunities, and provide relief for critical needs, especially for those living with or affected by a rare disease.

Specialized Services for Abused Parents and Their Children (Demonstration Projects) is sponsored by Administration for Children & Families (ACF), Office of Family Violence Prevention and Services (OFVPS). This program aims to expand the capacity of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence service programs and community-based programs to prevent future domestic violence by addressing the needs of children exposed to such violence. It focuses on providing direct counseling, developmentally and age-appropriate services to victims and their children, advocacy, and supporting non-abusing parents in their roles as caregivers. Optional activities include early childhood development and mental health services, and coordinating with other community-based organizations.
