” Programs have used the grants to pay for fencing, improved HVAC systems, and making spaces more accessible to children with disabilities. Now, we’re sharing more about the program. Family child care providers can apply now for a second round of grant funding.
The application deadline is Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11:59 p. m. State officials have shared resources about the program, including this EEC video in English: Videos are also available in Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and simplified Chinese on the grant information page . This grant program is helping to strengthen child care programs around the state.
As Governor Maura Healey explained last month in a press release , “We know that too many families are struggling to find local and affordable child care options. That’s why we have been focused on providing capital opportunities that improve and expand care offerings for families.
