Northwest Missouri Autism Project | dmh. mo. gov Northwest Missouri Autism Project Family Flexible Assistance Program FY 27 Funding Announcement Northwest Missouri Autism Project The Northwest Missouri Autism Project (NWMAP) Family Flexible Assistance Program (FFAP) provides funding to eligible individuals with autism enrolled with the Division of Developmental Disabilities, and who live in the NWMAP region.
Counties served: Andrew, Atchison, Bates, Buchanan, Caldwell, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, Dekalb, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Nodaway, Platte, Ray, Worth FY27 FFAP Application Timeline July 22, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. (CST) August 20, 2026, at 11:59 p.

(CST) FY27 FFAP Application Link FY 27 FFAP Funding Information NWMAP FFAP Award Amount: $2,000 Total NWMAP FFAP Allocation: $1,941,534 Total NWMAP FFAP Slots Available: 971 Individuals who applied for FY26 FFAP funding but were not awarded funding will receive priority consideration when applying for FY27 NWMAP FFAP awards.
After all eligible priority applicants have been considered, any remaining funds will be awarded to other eligible applicants through a random selection process. Important Information Before Applying Because funding is limited: Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Apply only if you expect to use the full award amount during the fiscal year.
Funds must be used by June 30, 2027. Keep receipts for eligible purchases made on or after July 1, 2026. If you are unsure whether FFAP funding is needed or if a support/service is allowable, please contact the Office of Autism Services before applying.
