Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) (Minnesota)

Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) (Minnesota) is sponsored by Minnesota Department of Human Services. FHPAP provides grants to pay rent, mortgage, utilities, or other housing costs that help individuals and families who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness and are below 200% of the poverty level, to maintain or attain housing.

us Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) The Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) provides supportive services and financial assistance, such as rent deposits, rent payments or utility payments, to eligible households that are homeless or at imminent risk of homeless.

Eligibility Criteria for Participants Income at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines Minnesota residents, or household otherwise approved by Minnesota Housing Experiencing a housing crisis Households are assessed by FHPAP providers to determine eligibility and level of assistance. Funds are limited may not be available for all households.

Regional FHPAP providers are available to support all household types in stabilizing their housing situation as quickly as possible.
