The Director's Office GMU administers Family Resource Centers (FRCs), which connect vulnerable Nevadans with much-needed social services. Using Fund for a Healthy Nevada tobacco settlement dollars, FRCs help families that are low-income, transient/homeless, or otherwise impaired by their educational, economic and social situations. One FRC can exist in each of Nevada's 18 service areas, defined by residential ZIP code.
FRCs collaborate with local and state agencies and organizations to help individuals and families access needed services and support. Nevadans in need of services are encouraged to reach out to the FRC in their area. Visit this link for the current directory of FRCs in Nevada.
