The Faraja School is the only school of its kind in Tanzania.
In 2022, the foundation expanded its activities through its program, Faraja Forward, to serve children with disabilities (and their mothers) living in remote areas of the country where support systems are few or do not exist at all. Faraja Forward and its mobile outreach program provides medical and psychosocial support, training for community health workers, and advocacy to ensure the full human rights of CWD.
