Fdc Foundation is sponsored by Fdc Foundation. Gives primarily for health, particularly to organizations that support the treatment of persons with diabetes, including education, nutrition, medication, and supplies for persons who either now have or are at high risk of developing diabetes.

Grants > Grant Guidelines The Foundation makes grants to 501(c)(3) public charities. Charities selected must engage in or support programs that are aligned with our mission and purposes as outlined in the Foundation’s Mission Statement. We will consider making grants only to organizations providing programs that fit within the Foundation’s mission and purposes.

The Board of Directors expects to meet at least twice a year to review grant proposals and make decisions regarding grant distributions. Grants Made by the Foundation We fund organizations that address the areas of interest as detailed in our Mission Statement: Grants That the Foundation Will Not Make The Foundation will not make grants to international organizations or to for-profit businesses.

The foundation does not typically make grants for the following purposes. Requests to fund the following are likely to be denied: Designing and producing videos Dinners, balls, or other fundraising events Political lobbying activities, or other political purposes Local, state or federal governments Purposes outside of the Foundation’s mission and funding priorities Grants may be awarded for one or more years from the award date.

Grant recipients are required to use the funds only for the purposes for which the grant is made during this period.
