Maryland tax credit program rewards donors and benefits charitable causes Maryland residents who make charitable gifts to their local community foundation may qualify for Endow Maryland Tax Credit Program which rewards donors with a 25 percent tax credit on state taxes. Additionally, donors may also be eligible for a federal tax deduction.
Locally, charitable gifts of $500 or more made to qualifying programs at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore can benefit both donors and Lower Shore charitable causes.
