FGM Frontline Funding and Advocacy Initiative is sponsored by Wallace Global Fund. The Wallace Global Fund, a private grantmaking foundation, is developing a new initiative to extend its longstanding work on ending female genital mutilation (FGM).
This initiative will provide consistent, flexible funding and support to frontline organizations working on ending FGM, a movement support hub, and will include a survivor leadership fellowship component. The fund champions people-powered movement building and works to advance democracy, climate action, and racial, economic, and gender justice.
The Fund has been committed to ending FGM since its inception and directs its resources to survivor-led movements, frontline activists, and national, regional, and global advocacy organizations. The Fund plans to cease operations in December 2026, but this initiative will extend its work beyond its closure.
