Financial Support - Kids Cancer Alliance Childhood cancer is not only hard on families physically and emotionally, but also financially. Kids Cancer Alliance helps ease the financial burden of childhood cancer through the following programs. Please contact FinancialAssistance@KidsCancerAlliance.

Survivor and Sibling Scholarship Program The KCA Scholarship Fund was established to support young adult cancer survivors and their siblings by assisting them in pursuit of their academic and professional goals. The scholarships are designed to ease the financial burden of obtaining an education from an accredited university, community college, vocational or technical school.
Applications are open to individuals who meet the criteria, demonstrate financial need, and show academic and personal potential. The program is available to assist with necessity items related to the child’s cancer.
Items including rent/mortgage, utilities, travel to treatment, child care, food, fuel, parking and other ancillary medical costs will be considered. This program is open to families living in or being treated in Kentucky. Please click here to see the full eligibility requirements.
Transportation Assistance Program TAP assists qualified camper families with gas cards to reduce the financial burden associated with getting their child to any of our programs. We never want a child to miss out on the camp experience because of financial strain. Losing a child is one of the most difficult things a family can endure.
The bereavement fund allows us to support families of the children within our programs and honor a child who has passed away. We hope this provides some comfort to our families as they plan services for their loved one. Help us make a difference in the lives of families fighting cancer All of our programs are provided free of charge, so we rely 100% on donations from people like you!

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields. The K32 award supports fellows within 12 months prior to transitioning into, or within the first two years of, a postdoctoral position. The program, operated through NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD), aims to enhance the pool of qualified diverse cancer researchers. Beginning with the June 12, 2025 due date, the CURE ACE Award is available in both Independent Clinical Trial Required and Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed versions. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents at time of award.
Innovation Grant is a grant from the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation that funds nonprofit organizations pursuing unique, high-impact projects that improve health and wellness in Arizona communities.
