The funding will support the 2026 FinTech|X Accelerator, Tampa Bay Wave’s no-cost program designed to help high-growth fintech startups scale faster and smarter.
FinTech|X brings together experienced mentors, investors, and industry leaders to work directly with founders. Over the course of a few months, participants refine their business models, access capital, and scale solutions that address real-world financial challenges.

This grant from Regions Foundation, a nonprofit funded primarily by Regions Bank, reflects a shared belief that entrepreneurship drives economic opportunity.
“Programs like FinTech|X help create jobs, attract investment, and strengthen the innovation economy,” said Marta Self, Regions Foundation Executive Director.
