#BelieveInLocal is... Total Amount Awarded in 2025 In 2025, First Interstate BancSystem Foundation, gifted $1 million in grants as part of our Believe in Local campaign. Employee nominations identified 40 nonprofit organizations that each received $25,000 gifts to further their mission.
Believe in Local is an employee-driven grants program allowing our employees to nominate local nonprofit organizations to receive funding that will help drive community-wide impact. Nomination forms were received from nearly all departments including IT, Commercial, Retail, Credit Analytics, HR, Operations, Marketing, Treasury Solutions, and Compliance.
The nominations selected to receive grants were received from Tellers to Market Presidents. 97. 5% CRA-Qualified Organizations These Believe in Local Awards support low- to moderate-income individuals and families, contribute to the revitalization of neighborhoods, and help strengthen the communities we serve, live in, and love.
