First Responders Outreach Grants is sponsored by Gary Sinise Foundation. This program provides critical funding for emergency relief, training, and essential equipment to ensure first responders perform to the best of their abilities. Law Enforcement Organizations are explicitly included as eligible entities.

First Responder Support | Gary Sinise Foundation Constant Vigilance & Compounding Trauma Every day, our first responders are exposed to life-threatening events and the aftermath of tragedy. This often leaves a lasting emotional impact, including post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. Without Critical Equipment & Training Insufficient resources can compromise the ability of our heroes to effectively respond to emergencies.

In addition to endangering their lives, entire departments can feel overstretched and undervalued for the selfless sacrifices they make every day. Community members dedicate their time and skills to ensure public safety and emergency response without financial compensation. Too Proud To Ask For Help Driven by a strong sense of duty and self-reliance, many first responders silently bear their burdens without reaching out for support.

Pressure On The Whole Family The intense stress doesn't stop at the end of their shift. The families of these heroes often share in the strain caused by the high-stakes work of first responders. Government Programs Are Not Enough The challenges and needs of our first responders are complex, requiring additional support to fill the gap.

These grants are a lifeline that assists with navigating unforeseen challenges, provides assistance with health support, and ensures operational readiness for these heroes. Providing Grants For Equipment & Training We’re giving critical support to first responder departments across the nation. These grants help our local heroes perform their vital work while maintaining their commitment to serving our communities.

We provide timely, direct financial assistance to the immediate family of fallen first responders in their time of need. This assistance allows for the family to properly come together, mourn, and remember without the financial stressors of daily life. Building & Modifying Homes For Wounded First Responders We’re modifying homes to ease the everyday challenges of these heroes.

For America’s most severely wounded first responders—our multiple amputee and/or paralyzed heroes—we’re building homes fully customized to their individual needs. Thanks For Giving A Little Bit Of My Life Back. I still can't believe it's our house.
