This gives financial institutions the opportunity to connect with each fintech to ideate and test top-of-mind use cases together. Mapping the journey to innovation Over the course of the program, selected fintech firms partner with FIS experts and executives, as well as potential clients, to pressure-test and perfect their solutions under expert guidance. The final decision of the new cohort is announced. The 12-week Fintech Accelerator program begins, including in-person kickoff workshops with clients, internal leaders and the cohort.

Clients engage with the new cohort to provide guidance and explore use cases. Demo Day marks the conclusion of the program. FIS and its business lines funds proofs of concept and work towards successful execution and potential commercialization options.

Applications for startups to apply to the Fintech Accelerator program open. First- and second-round interviews with the startups. Roundtable discussions with clients and an update on startup recruitment.
