FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund Grants is sponsored by The Our Fund Foundation. Provides grants to South Florida agencies offering critical services to LGBTQ+ youth.

FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund Funds raised by FLoatarama benefit the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund managed by our Philanthropy Partner, The Our Fund Foundation . FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund grants are awarded to South Florida agencies providing critical services to support the One-in-Five Youth who identify as LGBTQ+ .

To date the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund has granted $412,134 We issue an annual Request-For-Proposals (RFP) in partnership with The Our Fund Foundation ahead of our annual Fall Grant Cycle . RFP applications are reviewed by our independent Grant Review Committee , and their funding recommendation is submitted to the FLoatarama Board of Directors .

FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $20,000 SunServe has provided vital mental health & wellbeing services to LGBTQ+ Youth for over 20 years, serving some of the most vulnerable members of our local community. Rising anti-LGBTQ rhetoric in Florida, and the resulting trauma experienced by LGBTQ+ Youth, is further increasing demand for these critical services.

FLoatarama's grant provides funding for the SunServe Youth Center FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $20,000 The Pride Youth Band brings together South Florida LGBTQ high school students and their allies to work with musician mentors and celebrate diversity through music. This grant continues FLoatarama’s support of the band, and funds the 4th Annual Soloist Scholarship.

Jewish Community Services of South Florida FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $20,000 Jewish Community Services provides services to the LGBTQ community and is also home to the 211 and 988 Crisis Helplines. They have already supported more than 3,000 LGBTQ Youth at higher risk of depression, suicide, substance abuse, homelessness, and victimization FLoatarama's grant will ensure more youth can be supported.

FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $15,000 The Big Pride program of Big Brothers Big Sisters uplifts LGBTQ Youth by providing the connection, visibility and mentorship they critically need.

FLoatarama's grant will fund the new GSA Mentoring Program National Voices for Equality, Education and Enlightenment FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $15,000 National Voices for Equality, Education, and Enlightenment works to reduce bullying and prevent suicide among K-12 youth.

FLoatarama's grant provides funding for the AFFIRM program which supports LGBTQ Youth and their families in South Florida through education, leadership development, mentorship, and community partnerships.

Safe Schools South Florida FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $15,000 Safe Schools South Florida's Unicorn Club QR-Code Health Education program addresses misinformation by providing direct access to accurate, youth-friendly sexual health information, including STI and HIV prevention. FLoatarama's grant will support this important work.

FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $10,000 The Sunshine Pride House is a safe haven for homeless LGBTQ+ Youth in Fort Lauderdale. The House offers shelter, and critical wrap-around service, for LGBTQ+ young adults who’ve been kicked out by their families after coming out. FLoatarama's grant supports operating funds for the Sunshine Pride House.

FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $10,000 Recent legislation is making LGBTQ-inclusive education harder than ever, and young people need to learn about their history, their community, their bodies, and themselves. PRISM's Content Creation Task Force provides online digital media information and education resources to address this. FLoatarama's grant will support this important work.

FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $10,000 The Humanity Project works to stop elementary school bullying, and build a solid foundation for bullying prevention in middle & high schools. FLoatarama's grant supports this important work. FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $10,000 Centered on social justice, Brévo Theatre’s Rooted & Resilient Monologue Festival will amplify the voices of LGBTQ Youth through powerful storytelling and performance.

FLoatarama's grant will support this inspiring work. FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $10,000 TransEd provides GED certification support and scholarships to transgender and non-binary students, addressing the high percentage of gender-nonconforming high school students who drop out due to bullying at school and at home. FLoatarama's grant will support this important work.

FLoatarama 2025 Grant: $5,000 The Alliance for LGBTQ Youth provides LGBTQ Youth in Miami-Dade with opportunities to develop as critical thinkers and community leaders through their ChangeMakers program.
