FPL | Community | Power to Care Helping our communities become even better places to live, work and raise a family. Hundreds of employees, retirees, family and friends come together annually to volunteer statewide for dozens of worthy nonprofits. We distribute thousands of meals kits to vulnerable senior citizens to help ensure they are prepared for hurricane season.
Our veteran heroes give so much to us, surprising and delighting them and their families for the holidays is the least we can do. We’re helping eligible customers with energy retrofits, free home energy surveys and more to help save energy and lower their bill. Partnering with community nonprofits, we help them become more energy efficient – allowing them to do even more for their clients.
By donating, you can help families in hardship keep their lights on. Every contribution goes to help neighbors in need. Our annual employee giving campaign encourages teammates to contribute to the organizations and causes they are passionate about.
Our employees and their families donate thousands of volunteer hours each year to make a difference in their communities. NextEra Energy Foundation partners with and invests in nonprofit organizations throughout Northwest Florida.
